    • Characteristics of the vintage

A hot and extremely dry year, marked by early ripening. Spring was cool and dry, with late bud break, followed by flowering at the usual time in early June. After the hottest and driest summer on record, the harvest began very early, at the end of August. Heavy rains at the end of September favoured the intense development of botrytis on already very ripe grapes, resulting in very aromatic, rich, and creamy sweet wines.

    • Harvest

The late September rains transformed the grapes into intensely botrytised noble fruit. Following a period of sunny weather that concentrated the berries through natural drying on the vine, we selectively harvested noble-rot-affected clusters across the entire estate between October 6th and November 3rd.

    • Vinification

The grapes were gently pressed, without destemming, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks or in barrels. Some batches fermented very slowly, continuing until early 2023.

    • Blend

      100% Furmint

    • Maturing

The wine was aged for 18 months, mostly in older 225-litre oak barrels. It was blended in May 2024, then continued its ageing in stainless steel tanks, before being bottled in July 2025.

    • Tasting notes

It reveals a bright golden-yellow colour. The nose is intense, with aromas of ripe apricot, mirabelle plum and flower honey. On the palate, it highlights a fresh but rounded acidity, offering good weight and a great texture, with great balance and purity.

    • Serving

Ready to drink from the moment it is bottled. Thanks to the barrel ageing, it will develop in complexity during the next ten to fifteen years.
To enjoy to its fullest, serve cool (11-13°C). After opening, it can be kept in the fridge for two weeks.

    • Serving

Outstanding aperitif. Perfect accompaniment to foie gras. Also excellent with sea-fish dishes made with creamy sauce and lemon, duck dishes with fruit, and not so sweet desserts, fruits and cheeses.
